Key Responsibilities
Respond to attraction downtimes and support urgent engineering needs
Develop scope for reliability improvement efforts including design, installation, and documentation
Monitor downtime trends and control system performance
Plan, schedule, and coordinate Sustaining Engineering tasks
Perform hazard analyses and ensure compliance with standards
Required Qualifications
5+ years of Controls Systems experience in the amusement park or industrial environment
Ride element performance analysis skills
Experience with electronic control systems and signal processing
Knowledge of electrical motor controls and various industrial automation PLCs
Familiarity with National and California Electrical Codes
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Experience with object-oriented programming (C/C++) and ladder logic
Knowledge of ANSI, ASTM, and IEEE standards
Preferred Qualifications
California Professional Registration
Experience in controls circuit design and troubleshooting
Knowledge of program design language (PDL) and Imagineer's control language (ICL)
Familiarity with safety PLCs and audio/visual systems
Scripting skills in C, VB, JS, etc.
