Key Responsibilities
Lead daily operations of the FSQA team
Establish a culture prioritizing food safety and quality
Design and manage quality assurance programs
Develop and enforce quality standards
Oversee environmental monitoring and compliance programs
Handle food safety crises and manage product recalls
Collaborate on Team Member relations and performance management
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
BA/BS degree in food science, microbiology, animal sciences, or related field preferred
2+ years of FSQA facility experience within a food production environment
12+ months of supervisory FSQA experience in the food manufacturing industry
Proven track record of success in an FSQA leadership role
Ability to develop, implement, and manage food safety and quality assurance programs
Experience in conducting internal and external audits and inspections
Proficiency in analyzing data from quality tests, audits, and inspections
Intermediate computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
PCQI and HACCP certified
Basic understanding of ERP processes within a food manufacturing environment
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Strong partnership-building skills with stakeholders
