Med/Surg Tele RN Job Details

• Location: Hyannis, MA (Cape Cod region) – Massachusetts nursing jobs
• Healthcare Setting: Medical/Surgical Telemetry – Float Pool
• Employment Type: Travel RN Contract
• Start Date: December 15, 2025
• End Date: March 14, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (19:00-07:30), every other weekend & rotating holidays
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,210 - $2,370 per week
• Float Locations: May float between Cape Cod Hospital and Falmouth Hospital as needed

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and valid Massachusetts RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience in an acute care facility
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Telemetry nursing experience required
• Must pass CCHC Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia Exams prior to start date
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), ACLS certification, experience with cardiac, post-cardiac surgery, or telemetry patients

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Accurately document assessments, care plans, and patient progress
• Mentor and support ancillary staff and new nursing team members
• Utilize computerized nursing informatics systems proficiently
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Comply with hospital policies, including infection control and safety procedures
• Maintain patient confidentiality and represent the hospital positively in the community
• Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing leadership
