Job Description
As a Payroll Associate at Touchstone Communities, you will ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, supporting a compassionate workforce. Join a collaborative team where your efforts contribute to the overall morale and trust within the community.
Key Responsibilities
Process semi-monthly payroll and off-cycle payments with precision and timeliness
Respond to employee and HR inquiries regarding payroll, timekeeping, and compensation policies
Maintain and update payroll data within Paycor and other internal systems
Administer and track garnishments, verifying accurate deductions
Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies
Assist with 401(k) match reporting, PTO balances, and payroll analytics
Prepare documentation for internal audits, subpoenas, and external reporting requests
Support quarterly and annual filings such as 941s and PBJ reports
Train new HR team members on payroll and timekeeping basics
Reconcile payroll data with the General Ledger
Uphold strict confidentiality of all payroll and employee information
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of hands-on payroll processing experience (in-house preferred)
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Clear, professional communication—written and verbal
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Experience with Paycor or other large HRIS systems
