• Provides direct patient care using the nursing process
• Ensures patient comfort and communicates procedures
• Administers medication and performs clinical treatments
• Documents patient care and monitors patient condition
• Assists with activities of daily living
• Collaborates across disciplines for patient care
• Provides patient and family education
• Advocates for patient's physical and emotional well-being
• Participates in staff meetings and committees
