Perform diagnostic radiological exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment Verify patient identity and review medical records Interview patients to obtain and verify medical history Explain procedures to patients, including risks and benefits Set up equipment and acquire appropriate images Review images and communicate findings to radiologist Provide physician-prescribed post care instructions to patients Participate in process improvement activities Provide imaging education to residents and new employees Take call/standby as required Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R) AHA Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS) training by end of orientation period
