  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks (12/15/2025 – 3/16/2026)
  • Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 – 07:30)
  • Hours per Week: 36
  • Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,630 - $1,750
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend; six weekend shifts in six weeks
  • Holiday Coverage: Required
  • Float Requirement: Float to IMC/PCU units (ratio 1:4)
  • Scrubs: Caribbean Blue (not provided)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience (travel nurses welcome)
  • Active RN license in Maryland or compact state
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
  • Experience with Cerner charting system
  • Telemetry and ventilator management skills required
  • Two supervisor references required
  • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
  • Previous charge nurse and community hospital experience preferred

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality critical care to adult and geriatric patients in a 12-bed ICU
  • Manage patients with acute respiratory failure, post-cardiac arrest, shock, diabetic ketoacidosis, acute renal failure, stroke, and post-operative care
  • Perform and assist with advanced procedures: intubation, central line placement, chest tube placement
  • Administer and titrate vasoactive infusions, sedation, heparin, paralytics, and antiarrhythmics
  • Operate advanced equipment: ventilators, BiPAP, high-flow nasal cannula
  • Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias
  • Float to IMC/PCU units as needed and manage higher patient ratios
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including PT, RT, pharmacy, and social services
