Requirements:

• AZ RN License

• BLS Certification

• Minimum 2 years OR experience

EMR: SurgiNet (Cerner)

Role Overview:
The Operating Room RN demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and providing patient care in the OR. As a key member of the surgical team, the RN collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, ORTs, and other staff to ensure care meets State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and hospital standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure surgical supplies are prepared and cases run on schedule

• Maintain effective communication with families and update physician preference cards

• Scrub and assist surgeons during procedures

• Supervise personnel delivering patient care in the OR

• Uphold hospital and departmental policies and procedures
