Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Postpartum Nurse to join our team. The position requires floating between multiple hospitals based on needs, thus providing a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Float within five hospitals as needed, including support for the Special Care Nursery (SCN) within one of the locations.
  • Provide care for postpartum patients and handle patient readmits for OB issues.
  • Maintain a patient ratio of 1:8.
  • Document patient care using Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a postpartum setting.
  • BLS and NRP certifications required.
  • Active New Jersey or Compact License required; no pending licenses will be accepted.
  • Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
