Job Description
Raytheon is seeking a Principal RF Engineer to lead RF architecture and troubleshooting activities within the Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) organization. This role requires hands-on experience with RF systems and offers the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that contribute to national defense.
Key Responsibilities
Lead RF architecture trades and design activities for developmental programs
Perform RF system calibration activities within HWIL facilities
Lead RF troubleshooting and failure investigation activities
Assist in generating requirements, statements of work, and verification plans
Work in a team environment supporting the full lifecycle of system development
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
Experience with RF electronics design and/or RF antennas
Active and transferable US government issued Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of calibration/characterization of RF signal generation systems
Strong organization, coordination, planning, and teaming skills
Existing Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) clearance
Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
Experience with software languages such as Java, C, C++, or similar
Experience troubleshooting systems using test equipment
