Key Responsibilities
Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance
Administers prescribed medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse
Documents resident care and communicates changes to the charge nurse
Assists with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, and feeding
Maintains cleanliness of resident living areas
Required Qualifications
High school graduate or GED preferred
Minimum age of 18
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with State Board of Nursing
Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Medication Aide/Assistant course
Preferred Qualifications
Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care
Maintains all department-specific required certifications
