Job Description
Join Lincoln Electric as a Designer Drafter, where you'll support the Plant Engineering team by creating 3D models and drafting essential documentation. Leverage your design expertise to implement capital projects and enhance manufacturing processes in a leading global company.
Key Responsibilities
Support Plant Engineers with 3D models and manufacturing drafts
Reverse engineer components from physical parts or legacy drawings
Create and manage electronic files using document management systems
Assist in the development and maintenance of templates and schematics
Maintain mechanical CAD procedures and standards
Support fabrication through creation of supporting files
Document existing production and facility support equipment
Required Qualifications
High School Education or GED
3 years professional experience in design and drafting
Proficiency in Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Catia, or NX
Familiarity with AutoCAD
Experience with data management systems (PDM/PLM)
Experience with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft software
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Exposed to machine shop or metal manufacturing processes
Highly motivated to quickly learn 3D CAD drafting
Organized and detail oriented
Self-motivated with a high level of ownership
Capable of working independently and as part of a team
