Location: Scranton, PA

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift Details:

• Days, 5x8hr shifts (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

• After-hours and 24-hour weekend call required

Requirements:

• 1 year Cardiac Interventional Radiology Cath Lab experience required

• ARRT certification required

• BLS and ACLS required

• RCIS preferred

• Cerner experience preferred

Unit Details:

• Number of Beds: 3

• Monthly Department Volume: ~300 cases

• Services: Diagnostic catheterization, interventional, peripheral & peripheral intervention, structural heart, and thrombectomy

• Scope: CVT support of diagnostic and therapeutic/interventional cardiovascular procedures

Job Summary:
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician demonstrates critical thinking and sound judgment while assisting with imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Responsibilities include performing studies in a timely manner under the direction of the Cardiologist, Chief Technologist, or Director of Imaging Services.
