Position Summary
A Hospital is seeking a skilled Procedural Radiologic Technologist to join its fast-paced Electrophysiology Lab. This role involves assisting with both non-invasive and invasive cardiac procedures, with technologists scrubbing in approximately 80% of cases. The lab averages 20 procedures per day across four procedural suites.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Electrophysiologists during EP procedures, maintaining sterile technique and supporting patient safety
- Operate and maintain X-ray equipment and imaging systems
- Monitor arrhythmias and understand cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Participate in scheduled call rotations: two weeknight calls per pay period (17:30–19:30) and weekend call (08:00–12:00) for up to four weekends per assignment
- Support additional procedural areas including Cath Lab, VIR, and Neuro Interventional as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of intraprocedural radiographic technologist experience
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- Active ARRT certification
- Valid Ohio Radiologic License (ODH)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, positioning, radiation safety, and medical terminology
