Shift Details:

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

• 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week guaranteed

• Every other weekend and holidays required

• On-call: TBD

Job Summary:
The Med Surg/Telemetry RN coordinates and delivers total nursing care to patients, serves as a patient and family educator, and provides leadership by collaborating with ancillary staff and interdisciplinary teams. Nurses in this role may be asked to serve as a backup Charge Nurse and must be flexible to float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg units.

• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4/5

• Average daily census: 22

Requirements:

• Active RN license

• 2 years recent Med Surg & Rehab experience – required

• Charge RN experience – required

• Previous travel experience (at least 3 months) – required

• ACLS and BLS certifications – required

• BSN preferred
