Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and establish best practices and standards for hospital clinical services
  • Manage nursing teams to provide high-quality care and service
  • Coordinate nursing with other patient care and support functions
  • Provide leadership and guidance in establishing nursing standards
  • Steer clinical excellence through staff development
  • Share responsibility for employee engagement, recruitment, and retention
  • Implement company standards of care, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure all regulatory requirements are met
  • Create and implement a schedule for safe staffing
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership and departments for patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

  • BSN required
  • MSN or equivalent Masters in Healthcare or enrollment in a Masters program required
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse required
  • 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience required
  • 3 or more years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity required
  • Certified BLS completed on date of hire required
  • ACLS required within 6 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three of these years of RN experience in rehabilitation nursing preferred
  • CRRN required when eligible
