As an FSQA Technician, you will ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards in a dynamic meat and seafood processing environment. You'll be responsible for monitoring programs, training employees, and assisting in audits, all while collaborating with multiple departments to uphold product integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor FSQA programs including HACCP, sanitation, pest control, and product quality assurance
Assist in employee training of FSQA programs and procedures
Implement Independent FSQA Audit Program
Assist in product evaluations and plant visits
Interact with various personnel across operations and suppliers/customers
Required Qualifications
1-3 years of meat and/or seafood industry experience
Formal job training in TQM principles, SPC, HACCP concepts, CFIA/FDA regulations
Ability to write reports and present information
Basic mathematical skills
Ability to define problems and interpret technical instructions
