Job Title: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment Location: Simpsonville, SC 29681  

Start Date: Flexible Duration: 13 weeks  

Shift: Night – 3x12-Hour (19:00–07:30)

About the Role A large health system is seeking an experienced MS/Tele RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Simpsonville, South Carolina. This role involves providing high-quality care to adult patients in a fast-paced medical-surgical telemetry unit. Candidates must be comfortable with floating to other units within the health system as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with a variety of medical and telemetry needs
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
• Document care using the Epic electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Float to qualified units across Prisma Health facilities based on census demands

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina or multistate RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Tele experience (3 years required for first-time travelers)
• 1 year of experience using Epic EHR
• Active AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications

Floating Policy

• Floating is required across units and campuses
• Nurses will only be assigned to units where they are clinically competent
• Floating is based on census needs and staffing requirements

Preferred Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and adaptability in high-acuity settings
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Prior travel nursing experience in large health systems
