Join MassMutual as a Project Manager in the newly formed Corporate Function Program Management Office. You will lead complex projects, ensuring alignment with corporate goals while applying established project management methodologies. Collaborate with diverse teams to drive initiatives that enhance visibility, prioritization, and execution across Corporate Functions.
Key Responsibilities
Compile Discovery artifacts such as Cost Benefit Analysis and Project Charter
Develop and maintain Detailed Planning artifacts and manage plan execution
Determine project scope and manage scope execution across large projects
Develop financial forecasts and record cost variance
Develop high-level milestones and detailed project schedules
Maintain Risk and Issue Log and escalate project risks
Drive continuous improvement and efficiencies
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
8+ years of project management experience
Proven success in delivering complex long-term projects on time and within budget
Strong understanding of project management methodologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira)
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of project management experience, 5+ within a PMO
8+ years of experience leading projects impacting Investment Management and Capital Market systems
Experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate re-organizations, and legal operations
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
