Perform diagnostic radiological exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment Verify patient identity and review medical records for exam appropriateness Interview patients to obtain and verify medical history Explain procedures to patients, including risks and benefits Set up equipment and acquire appropriate images Review images and document exceptions from established protocols Recognize and respond to medical emergencies Provide post care instructions to patients Participate in process improvement activities within radiology practice Provide imaging education to residents and new employees Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R) AHA Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training by end of orientation Up to $15,000 Sign on Bonus based on relevant experience
