A board-eligible or board-certified general surgeon providing in-house surgery call coverage at a hospital. Responsible for managing medium acuity surgical procedures, covering an average of 2-4 calls per shift with 0-2 callbacks in a 24-hour period. Utilizes Cerner EMR system and works alongside support staff comparable to similarly credentialed providers.
