Job Description
As a Delivery Service Supervisor at Sysco, you will oversee delivery operations, ensuring safety and compliance while directing staff to maintain efficiency and customer service excellence. Your analytical skills will help optimize delivery plans, and your leadership will foster a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily work and safety of delivery associates
Analyze live and historical data for optimal delivery plans
Manage labor hours and direct labor activities within budget
Recommend and implement work schedules and changes
Coordinate repairs and maintenance with relevant departments
Review delivery productivity reporting and suggest improvements
Ensure compliance with food safety and DOT regulations
Communicate with sales and marketing teams to resolve delivery issues
Train staff and conduct safety inspections
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
1-3 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Ability to manage pressures and stress in a deadline-oriented atmosphere
Excellent computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
Two or four-year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar major
HazMat certification
Working knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
