Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the definition of requirements for propulsion systems
  • Support the definition of functional and physical interfaces between the propulsion system and the vehicle
  • Support the configuration or design of propulsion sub-systems and components
  • Support testing, analysis, modeling, and simulation activities
  • Support verification tests for propulsion sub-systems and components
  • Support the review, processing and approval of engine qualification documentation
  • Assist with propulsion ground and flight test planning
  • Work under general supervision

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 2+ years of work related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or work related experience with a Master’s degree
  • Understanding of the interactions between propulsion, aerodynamics, and flight controls
  • Knowledge of internal and external flow characteristics related to inlets, nozzles, and engine operation
