ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Dallas, Texas.
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 3-12 hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays
• Patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4
• Care for patients under 2 years of age, including premature infants (28 weeks and above)
• Work with specialized NICU equipment including nasal cannula, bubble CPAP, ventilators, oscillators, IV pumps, NIRS monitors, warmers, and isolettes
• Required certifications: BLS and NRP
• Minimum 1 year Level III NICU experience required
• Must have experience with preemies, central line management, and respiratory management up to and including intubated patients
• Preferred skills include experience with surgical patients, cardiac patients, patients under 27 weeks gestation, tracheostomy infants, and broviacs
• May float to PICU, Pediatrics, or CICU as needed (contract staff float before permanent staff)
• Unit performs procedures including central line insertions, circumcisions, exploratory laparotomies, gastroschisis reductions, and PDA ligations
• Documentation systems: CPN and Meditech
• Required uniform: Royal blue scrubs
• Work alongside RNs, LVNs, PCTs, and Nurse Externs

This major medical center features a comprehensive 108-bed Level III NICU located in the North Tower. The facility specializes in providing advanced neonatal intensive care services and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to support the most critically ill newborns. The unit maintains high standards of care with experienced multidisciplinary teams and offers a full range of neonatal services including complex surgical procedures and specialized cardiac care for the youngest patients.
