#Consistently demonstrates the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory care of all patients based on patients’ specific age group. Plans and implements non-standardized interventions, specifically individual exercise programs in accordance with AACVPR/AHA guidelines and physician recommendations
~Plans for the patient discharge by working with the health care team to ensure timely discharge
~Augments initial respiratory assessment data including biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self care, discharge planning factors with experimental knowledge to refine individualized treatment plan.*Consistently documents patient evaluation, departmental data, goals, patient notes, individual treatment plan, outcomes, and patient exercise sessions in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy
~Obtains compiles, interprets and incorporates patient data into monthly individualized treatment plan for the patient which reflects full range of needs, including physical/functional, vocation, nutritional, psychosocial, and emotional and education needs
~Updates staff/physicians using SBAR
~At least two years of clinical respiratory therapy experience
Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Program
Proof of having passed the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
