Job Description
Join Spectrum Center Schools as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and make a significant impact in the lives of K-12 students. In this role, you'll provide tailored behavioral support and training to educational staff, ensuring compliance with educational standards and fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to teachers and educational staff
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of academic and behavioral services
Assess professional development needs of educational staff
Develop and implement behavioral intervention plans
Conduct regular quality assurance assessments
Ensure compliance with Department of Education regulations
Required Qualifications
Master's degree or higher in applied behavior analysis, behavioral therapy or a closely related field of study
Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) credential
Well-versed in applied behavior analysis (ABA) including positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS)
Prior experience and/or knowledge in special education services and compliance
Highly skilled in working with individuals with severe learning and emotional behavioral disorders
Prior experience and knowledge in crisis management systems and intervention
Proven success in developing and implementing effective treatment plans
Preferred Qualifications
Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a special education teaching credential
Advanced oral and written communication skills
Ability to think and act quickly and calmly in emergencies
