Key Responsibilities
Provide treatments to patients by evaluating their function and applying appropriate treatments
Participate in an interdisciplinary approach for education and clinical training
Evaluate patients and establish individualized goals
Utilize effective techniques to normalize speech and language activity
Educate patients and families in home exercise programs
Document treatment plans and adhere to departmental policies
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Holds current Connecticut license for Speech Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
Basic personal computer skills in Windows programs
Reliable transportation for travel between multiple work sites
