Key Responsibilities
Provide therapeutic, educational, and recreational programs for patients
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities
Support patients undergoing medical procedures and treatments
Advocate for patient and family needs
Facilitate interaction between patients, siblings, and parents
Coordinate educational programs and outreach initiatives
Maintain a safe and child-friendly play area
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Child Life, Child Development, Psychology, or related field
Successful completion of an internship meeting Association of Child Life Specialists standards
CCLS certification within two years of hire
BCLS certification within 180 days
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a hospital setting as a Child Life Specialist
