Job Summary  

The Interventional Radiology Technologist supports physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular, pulmonary, and vascular conditions through invasive and non-invasive procedures. This role involves operating specialized imaging and physiological equipment, maintaining sterile technique, and ensuring accurate documentation and equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Operate and maintain cardiac cath equipment including C-Arm, angiographic injectors, and monitoring systems
• Monitor and record patient vital signs throughout procedures
• Apply radiation safety standards and aseptic techniques
• Perform equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
• Complete procedural documentation and ensure accurate charge capture
• Maintain a clean and stocked procedure room
• Support departmental education and performance improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent education/experience (preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year catheterization experience (preferred)
• ARRT-R certification
• Valid Radiologic Technologist license in California
• Current Fluoroscopy license
• BLS certification (AHA or equivalent)
