Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as a Crisis Behavioral Health Clinician, making a significant impact on children and young adults facing mental health crises. You'll provide culturally competent crisis interventions and collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure effective treatment within the Staten Island community.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to crisis referrals within 2 hours and perform risk assessments
Work with clients and families to create safety plans
Develop and implement short-term service plans
Utilize evidence-based practices for short-term clinical interventions
Maintain case documentation in electronic health record system
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
Assist in the intake process for new consumers
Enhance communication with family advocates
Required Qualifications
Licensed Mental Health clinician
Valid NYS Driver's License
Minimum of one year of relevant experience with similar client population
Proficient reading and writing in English
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual clinicians (if relevant to the population serviced at site)
