WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Operating Room Nurse a for an on-going contract assignment at a Prestigious ASC North Haven, CT.

Job Function:

• Day Shift.
• 6:45pm - 3:45pm.

• Record all care information accurately and promptly in the facility’s EMR.

• Prepare the operating room for procedures and assist staff with room breakdown.

• Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care needs before, during, and after surgery.

• Assist physicians during procedures and care for patients receiving conscious sedation.

• Maintain strict aseptic standards and ensure accurate handling of specimens.

Job Requirements:

• Current State RN license (or willingness to obtain).
• 1 year of operating room or surgical center experience required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
