Join Lincoln Electric as a Designer/Drafter to support our Plant Engineering team by implementing capital projects and providing engineering support. You will create and modify 3D models and 2D drafts, collaborating with various departments to enhance our operations.
Key Responsibilities
Support Plant Engineers with 3D models and manufacturing drafts
Reverse engineer components from physical parts or legacy drawings
Create and store electronic files using document management systems
Assist in developing and maintaining templates and schematics
Maintain mechanical CAD procedures and standards
Support fabrication through creation of supporting files
Document existing production and facility support equipment
Required Qualifications
High School Education or GED
3 years professional experience in design and drafting
Proficient in Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Catia, or NX
Familiarity with AutoCAD
Experience with data management systems (PDM/PLM)
Knowledge of measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft software applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Organized and detail-oriented
Self-motivated with a high level of ownership
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to machine shop or metal manufacturing processes
Capable of working independently and as part of a team
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to propose innovative solutions
