Job Description
Join Raytheon as an Effector Production Section Leader, where you'll manage and mentor a skilled team of engineers in the Airborne Effector Production division. Lead critical programs and ensure the development of state-of-the-art electronics subsystems, contributing to national and global defense initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Managing and mentoring engineers who are Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) on various programs
Guiding a section of 15 to 20 AEP engineers
Hiring, staffing, performance evaluations, and coaching
Managing expense reports and timecard approvals
Leadership responsibility in AEP programs
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics (STEM degree)
Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience with progressing leadership roles
Experience with RF subsystem development, including design, analysis, and/or test
Experience spearheading a technical team, including task lead, IPTL or Engineering Lead
Preferred Qualifications
MS in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or Equivalent
Practical experience in all phases of the product development lifecycle
Experience in troubleshooting electronics systems
Coaching, teaching and/or mentoring skills
Strong emotional intelligence skills
Experience in creation and/or improvement of engineering development processes
Excellent track record for working effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent organizational, planning, and coordination skills
Strong engineering development discipline and process advocacy
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
An active and in-scope DoD Top Secret Clearance
The ability to acquire a Special Access Programs Clearance
