Perform diagnostic radiological exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment Verify patient identity and review patient's medical record Interview patients and assess risk factors Explain procedures to patients Set up equipment and acquire appropriate images Review images and communicate data to radiologist Recognize and respond to medical emergencies Provide post care instructions to patients Participate in process improvement activities Provide imaging education to residents and new employees Take call/standby as required Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R) AHA Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training
