Join Buckhead Meat and Seafood as an FSQA Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring food safety and quality assurance. You'll monitor various FSQA programs and assist in training while collaborating with multiple departments to uphold compliance and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor FSQA programs including HACCP, sanitation, pest control, and good manufacturing practices
Assist in Employee Training of FSQA Programs, Policies, and Procedures
Assist in Implementation of Independent FSQA Audit Program – SQF Audits
Participate in product evaluations, plant visits, and supplier/customer communications
Support emergency operations as determined by the plant President or GM
Required Qualifications
1 to 3 years of experience in the meat and/or seafood industry
Formal job training in TQM principles, SPC, HACCP concepts, CFIA/FDA regulations
Demonstrated ability to write reports and business correspondence
