Job Summary

The Catering Manager oversees budgets and catering operations for a specific location or a unit with less than $100K volume. Responsibilities include planning events with the culinary team, managing staff, developing systems for growth, and handling financial reporting and billing.

Essential Functions

  • Guest & Client Relations: Visit events to assess satisfaction, build relationships, and implement improvements.
  • Financial Results: Manage costs, prepare sales reports, bill clients, and balance revenue with customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in catering management.
  • Strong planning, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary, or related field.
