RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 4 x 10-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM
• Adult Day Surgery unit with 22 beds and 41 staff members
• Float between PreOp/PostOp/PreAdmit Testing areas
• Patient ratios: PreOp, PAT, and Holding - 1:1; PostOp - 3:1
• Must work 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays per schedule period
• Must work during inclement weather conditions
• Self-scheduling with supervisor ability to adjust based on unit needs
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must have IV start skills and Meditech experience
• PreAdmit Testing experience preferred
• Work with equipment including Meditech EMR and IV pumps
• Handle typical procedures: General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedic Scopes
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs
• Must be flexible, friendly, and a team player

The facility features a modern 22-bed unit with specialized areas including Day Surgery, PreAdmit Testing, OR Holding, and Day Surgery IR departments.
