Job Description
Seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a specialized nursing position focused on trach care, bariatrics, nocturnal ventilation, and stroke care. The role involves working in a Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit with a patient ratio of 1:5 and floating to acute care with a ratio of 1:6 depending on hospital census.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with various medical conditions including trach care, bariatrics, and stroke recovery.
- Float among different areas within the facility including holding patients in the ED or inpatient units as needed.
- Ensure thorough observations of all patients, maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Med Surg, Tele, or Stepdown critical care settings.
- Current NJ License or Compact Nursing License required.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, Stroke CEU.
- Completion of a critical care course is preferred.
