Optum Infusion Suite , part of Optum, has an immediate opening for a friendly, patient focused and detailed oriented Central Scheduler to join our team. Central Scheduler is responsible for the completion of set processes and protocols. Supports the teams in meeting financial, clinical and service goals.
Schedule: Monday through Friday a 40-hour work week to be determined by the supervisor between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Ability to utilize functionality of an electronic medical record to obtain accurate and updated patient information, such as name, address, insurance information, medications and authorizations
Maintain excel spreadsheets for medication inventories
Answering incoming and outgoing telephone calls from specialty pharmacies and provide clarification on prescriptions and obtain delivery dates
Adhere to the standards identified via Sparq regarding Optum Employee Policies
Keep abreast on current medical requirements relevant to their position, which includes maintaining patient confidentiality and abiding by all HIPAA and OSHA requirements
Participate in planning, coordinating, and implementing care in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team in accordance with the Plan of Care
Comply with administrative policies to ensure quality of care
