Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary decision maker for clinical and managerial operations during a shift
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver patient-centered care
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes
  • Support staff scheduling and manage labor in accordance with patient care needs
  • Assess quality of nursing care services and enhance patient safety and quality outcomes
  • Provide recommendations for interviewing and training new staff
  • Implement courses of action regarding training, conflict resolution, and policy compliance

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year experience in healthcare
  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment start date
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of employment start date
  • NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
