Job Description

Join Detroit Medical Center as a Respiratory Therapist, where you'll provide essential respiratory care services and support a dedicated health care team in a leading academic medical center.

Key Responsibilities

Provide respiratory therapy services throughout the continuum of care
Maintain effective interdepartmental relationships
Assume duties of an in-charge therapist
Monitor CQI activities and make daily assignments
Coordinate staffing/scheduling and daily staff activities
Instruct employees and students in respiratory care procedures

Required Qualifications

Graduation from an AMA/CoARC approved Respiratory Care program
Registration (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan
One to three years of respiratory care experience
BCLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

Previous leadership experience
Successful completion of ECMO training program
Hyperbaric training
ACLS certification
