Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical support under the supervision of licensed practitioners
Obtain vital signs
Administer injections and medication
Assist in providing patient care to assigned patients
Perform all aspects of the MA I role competently
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
Completed two years of medical training in the U.S. Armed Forces
Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant including clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
6 months of Healthcare experience
6 months of Medical Assistant experience
