Key Responsibilities
Develops and revises course content and curriculum
Ensures that curricula is current according to national standards
Designs curriculum across various platforms
Coordinates Program courses
Provides supervision of skill labs and serves as a lab instructor
Evaluates student progress and provides feedback
Maintains accurate records and files of courses and students
Participates in item development and revision process
Maintains contact with clinical affiliation sites
Supervises students in clinical areas
Teaches in other education programs as requested
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years progressive experience in a field/clinical setting as Paramedic or emergency nurse
Documented teaching experience
Paramedic License or Licensed Registered Nurse
Completion of an approved Instructor course
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in supervision of instructional staff
EMS educational program development
NREMT certification
