Barton Associates is seeking an experienced Medical Oncologist for a locum tenens position at a Hospital in Maine. This opportunity offers coverage starting 06/30/2025, for an initial contract of 32 days. The assignment involves working at three different clinic locations within 15 minutes of each other, with a schedule of Monday in one location, Tuesday in a second location, Wednesday and Friday in a third location, and Thursday off. Shifts are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The role includes overseeing both medical and infusion patients, with support from experienced nursing staff. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a skilled Medical Oncologist to contribute their expertise in a dynamic healthcare setting while enjoying the flexibility of locum tenens work. Facility Type: Hospital Physician specializing in Medical Oncology Schedule: Monday-Wednesday, Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (rotating locations) Manage follow-up appointments for existing oncology patients Oversee medical and infusion treatments Collaborate with experienced nursing staff and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate and timely medical records using McKesson iknowmed system Ensure high-quality patient care and safety Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures Rotate between three clinic locations as scheduled Participate in any necessary staff meetings or consultations Must be licensed to practice medicine in Maine Board certification in Medical Oncology required Experience in managing diverse oncology cases preferred Ability to work efficiently in different clinic settings Travel-related expenses covered • A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided • Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
