Job Description
Join Albany Medical Center as a Clinical Nurse III, where you'll provide compassionate care in the Med/Surg ICU on weekend nights. Utilize your nursing skills to assess, treat, and support patients while collaborating with a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
Implement physician orders and administer medications
Start IVs and perform treatments and procedures
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care
Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses
Collaborate with nursing team to create a Plan of Care
Guide ancillary personnel and maintain nursing standards
Required Qualifications
Graduate of a professional academic nursing program
Current NYS Registered Nurse license
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
Excellent communication skills
Strong prioritization and organizational skills
Knowledge of quality concepts and problem-solving techniques
