*Requirements:*
* *License:* Active Vermont RN license (must be in hand at submission); compact licenses accepted
* *Certifications:* BLS (AHA) required
* *Education:* BSN or higher required
* *Experience:*
* 3+ years in nursing leadership/management
* Geriatric nursing experience required
* Cerner EMR experience required
* Travel experience preferred
* Specialty certification in Geriatrics strongly preferred
* *Other:* Must have own reliable vehicle
* *Vaccination:* Must complete all vaccinations (if offered) before upload

*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES*: Plans, coordinates and manages the Resident Services Department. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of Resident Services and services provided to the residents. Includes but is not limited to:
* Supports and practices the philosophy, objectives and standards of the Resident Services Department and participates in the revision of these as necessary to ensure quality care to all residents.
* Coordinates resident care/service management efforts.
* Ensures effective and efficient organization and staffing of the Resident Services Department.
* Ensures that resident care interventions meet the personal, physical and cognitive needs of each resident as well as maximize his/herself care capacities, identity, independence, choice and opportunity for social interaction.
* Monitors the outcomes of Resident Services activities by evaluating staff performance, ensuring compliance with all community and regulatory agency standards, policies and procedures, coordinating community committees and monitoring the effective and efficient use of budgeted resources (personnel, supplies, equipment).
* Ensures a safe and sanitary environment for residents, team members and visitors.
* Maintains cohesive public and professional relationships with residents, families, physicians and the community.
* Assumes full responsibility for the operation and management of the community in the temporary absence of the Community Executive Director or as directed by the Executive Director.

*Responsibilities:*
* Lead and coordinate Resident Services operations and staff
* Ensure high-quality, person-centered geriatric care
* Maintain regulatory compliance and budget oversight
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and external partners
* Serve as acting Executive Director when needed

Pay: $95.00 - $105.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
