Job Details:
• Work 36/36 or 36/48 schedule with every other weekend requirement
• No call responsibilities • Floating to other units required • Patient ratio of 1:6 on weekends, 1:7 ratios strictly enforced • Care for adult and geriatric patients on 35-bed medical surgical unit with daily census of 35• Must have 1 year of nursing experience and community hospital experience • First time travelers accepted • AHA BLS certification required, NIHSS preferred • Epic charting system experience required • Must live 100+ miles from facility • Skills include use of rapid response/code teams, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, isolation precautions • 16 hours of non-billable orientation beginning on Sundays with online CBLs • Expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education • Hospital may cancel one shift biweekly without penalty based on census • Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only • Drug test must be completed 12-14 calendar days prior to start • Facial hair must be trimmed for fit testing per CDC guidelinesFacility:
