Key Responsibilities

  • Drive conversion new revenue from new customers in public sector and commercial market
  • Build territory strategy and analyze performance
  • Qualify prospects and route opportunities to sales team members
  • Schedule appointments and meet with prospective customers
  • Utilize marketing collateral for presentations
  • Attend conferences and events to represent Quill
  • Create and present custom pricing solutions
  • Leverage education contracts to acquire new customers
  • Ensure smooth transition to account management team
  • Meet and exceed quotas and key metrics
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM
  • Seek improvement through coaching and collaboration
  • Impact team culture positively and work collaboratively

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5+ years sales experience
  • At least 6 months of relevant experience in the public sector
  • Ability to cover a territory of New York City and surrounding areas
  • Approximately 50% travel required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven business development experience
