Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Plymouth, NH 03264 (White Mountains region)
• Healthcare Setting: OB Unit – Labor & Delivery
• Contract Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Start Date: December 5, 2025 (Orientation Day Shift)
• End Date: March 6, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36 (3 x 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend/holiday as scheduled

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire RN license or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery or OB nursing experience
• NRP certification (AHA required)
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• AWHONN certification preferred
• Experience in Apgar testing, postpartum care, mother-baby nursing, and lactation support
• Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience highly encouraged
• Must reside outside a 50+ mile radius from Plymouth, NH
• Profile submission must include work history, skills checklist (current within 1 year), 1 supervisory reference (from the past 2 years), and all required licenses/certifications

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient care throughout the Labor & Delivery process
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care
• Manage high-risk pregnancies, including preterm labor, hypertension, diabetes, VBAC, prenatal testing, and amniocentesis
• Provide childbirth education and lactation support services
• Perform Apgar testing and deliver postpartum and mother-baby care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Demonstrate clinical excellence and compassionate care in a fast-paced hospital environment
