THIS IS A NEURO UNIT

Qualifications :

• 2 Years Minimum Experience REQUIRED
• 1st Time Travelers are ACCEPTED
• Locals are ACCEPTED
• REQUIRED Certs: ACLS, BLS

Skills REQUIRED:

• Teamwork approach to patient care, Focus on patient safety

PREFERRED Skills:

• PREFERRED Certs: NIH
• Neuro exp preferred, Experience/willing to learn the charge nurse role preferred

JOB DETAILS:

• Ratios: 1:6
• Shift: NIGHT 36 or 48 hours accepted.
• 13-26 weeks accepted
• RTO: 7 days MAX;
• Float Requirement: yes, travelers float first
• Weekend Requirement: 5-6 weekend shifts (equates to every other weekend)
• Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
